Patch 1.0.1 (Consoles) — August 25, 2026
This is the current PS5 and Xbox Series X|S patch. Frogwares lists general performance improvements, better character visuals, reduced Xbox low-health ghosting and improved Xbox shadow quality.
Stability fixes cover several chapters and the DLC. The update addresses rare crashes in A New Day, after the Cold Comfort arena, inside Holloway Manor and during A Sight for Sore Eyes on Xbox.
Gameplay fixes target progression blockers. Shotgun reload loops, interrupted levers, console save-transfer achievement progress, missing subtitles, the hospital Prism and several soft-lock conditions were corrected.
Visual fixes are extensive. The patch corrects the third brain-puzzle lamp, Holloway Manor and church lighting, dense Fish Market boss fog, ultrawide UI layout, missing textures and missing collisions.
Hotfix 1.0.2 (PC) — August 21, 2026
Hotfix 1.0.2 is live on Steam, GOG and Epic. It adds a warning when outdated drivers may cause instability or visual problems.
The update improves several PSO-related hitches. It also fixes a rare crash involving the navigation mesh.
Hotfix 1.0.1 (PC) — August 19, 2026
The first full-release PC hotfix focused on rare crashes and puzzle bugs. It fixes crashes in A New Day and after the Cold Comfort arena fight.
A Sight for Sore Eyes received two important fixes. Players can no longer remove the Prism during validation, and the third lamp in the brain puzzle now lights correctly.
Several missing-texture cases were corrected. This hotfix applies to the PC release rather than the earlier Steam demo patch.
How to check your version and report problems
Match the notes to your platform first. A PC hotfix number should not be used to decide whether a PS5 or Xbox installation is current; check the platform download history and restart the game after updating.
Verify clean files before reporting a persistent PC issue. Disable mods, verify the installation through Steam, GOG or Epic and note the chapter, save state and reproduction steps.
Use Frogwares Support for unresolved crashes or blockers. Include system details, logs and a save file where possible so the report can be reproduced.
