The Sinking City 2 Release Date

Launch date and platforms

The worldwide release date was August 18, 2026. Steam, PlayStation and Xbox storefronts all list the same date.

The console versions target current-generation hardware. There are no PS4 or Xbox One editions of the sequel.

PC is available through Steam, GOG and Epic Games Store. The GOG release offers a DRM-free offline installer.

Editions

Standard includes the base game. US launch pricing on Steam and Xbox is $49.99.

Deluxe adds the Arkham Field Kit. The kit is a separate cosmetic add-on and the Deluxe edition is $54.99 on the US stores checked.

Premium adds The Holloway Manor. The Premium edition includes the base game, Arkham Field Kit and the separate manor story for $59.99 on the US stores checked.

Current update

Hotfix 1.0.2 is live for the PC storefronts. Frogwares lists a driver warning, PSO hitch improvements and a rare navigation-mesh crash fix.

Known issues are tracked separately. The support site currently recommends changing graphical presets from the title screen and avoiding unstable DLSS Performance modes.

What the sequel changes

The sequel is a standalone story in Arkham. It shifts from the first game's open-world detective adventure to a semi-open survival-horror structure.

Investigation remains optional but useful. Side cases provide supplies, shortcuts and upgrades without gating main-story progress.
