Lorelei and the Devil's Reef Hotel
Lorelei is the woman Calvin meets during The Wake-Up Call at the Devil's Reef Hotel. Her sequence combines exploration, three token chests, a basement machine and an escort back to the Annex.
Reaching Lorelei
The hotel is the final major location in The Wake-Up Call. Complete the church and crane routes first, then travel to Devil's Reef and search the upper floors.
Room 301 is optional but useful. Its safe code is 2137 and the reward is the Voss Aiming Grip pistol attachment.
Tokens and chests
Collect three Lorelei Tokens across the hotel. Each token opens one of three Lorelei Chests, and the chests provide the keys required for the Lorelei Lock.
One chest triggers a damaging sound trap. Destroy the four sound devices in that room—including the one in the bathroom—before staying to loot.
Basement machine
The machine uses three buttons and a lever. Press button 1 twice, button 2 four times and button 3 twice; pull the lever, then press button 1 once.
Take the Minuteman before leaving. The submachine gun is beside the basement machinery and is easy to miss during the transition to the escort.
Escort back to the Annex
Use the levers marked by red lights. Operate them in sequence to keep Lorelei moving toward the boat.
Target the final creature's legs first. When it kneels, shoot the exposed growths on its back; then deliver Lorelei to the Annex to receive the mask and continue the story.
